Next Stop Manhattan - Classical Music by a Special Ensemble

In 2008 an unusual artistic endeavour, the chamber music series "Spectrum Concerts Berlin", played by the ensemble of the same name, is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Concerts are presented in the "Berliner Philharmonie", but since last year also in the small hall of the New York Carnegie Hall. The idea for this ensemble came from the American cellist Frank Dodge, who still remains the creative director of Spectrum Concerts Berlin. The cultural programme is sponsored by committed private individuals, companies and foundations.
